LEGO reveals a stranger sort of Sanctum Sanctorum

Doctor Strange’s home has never been ordinary, but its latest LEGO visitors are an unusual bunch even by his standards. Revealed today, October 28, Marvel What If…? Doctor Strange Supreme (67005) is an 814-piece set arriving January 1, 2027, priced at $99.99 in the US for ages 9 and up.
The set draws on What If…?, Marvel Studios’ animated series on Disney+ that asks how familiar Marvel stories might unfold if key events happened differently. It also brings in characters from Marvel Zombies. Across three levels, sliding and switching portals make room for magical mischief. Strange Supreme is joined by F.R.I.D.A.Y., Zombie Hunter Spider-Man, Red Queen, Zombie Namor and Zombie Thor. There’s even a syringe for a zombie cure—an accessory someone should probably keep within reach.
The minifigures are a big part of the appeal. Zombie Thor and Zombie Namor give the lineup a suitably eerie edge, while Red Queen and F.R.I.D.A.Y. make it feel less predictable than another gathering of familiar Avengers. Collectors who enjoy Marvel’s stranger corners have plenty to look at here; those after the classic Doctor Strange-and-Wong pairing may prefer the earlier Sanctums.
How it compares with earlier Sanctums
LEGO has approached this address in several ways. Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum (76060) squeezed its 358 pieces into an interior scene, complete with a tentacled portal beast.
Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown (76108) widened the scene into a folding New York street corner, sharing its 1,004 pieces with a pizzeria and an apartment for Peter Parker. Strange had neighbors—and lunch options.
Then came the much grander, 2,708-piece Sanctum Sanctorum (76218): a detailed, all-around modular building aimed at adult collectors.
The smaller footprint makes more sense in context: this Sanctum joins LEGO’s compact, connectable Marvel World Building Collection. Like Peter Parker’s Apartment (76317), Spider-Man vs. Oscorp (76324) and Spider-Man vs. Mysterio: The Daily Bugle (76342), it is designed to become part of a larger Marvel neighborhood. At $99.99, it offers a lower-cost starting point than the large collector Sanctum, with room to grow a city one building at a time.
