Holiday Gnomes

Somebody got to Santa's cookies first. Two gnomes stand over the plate, one in a Christmas tree hat with a gold star on top, one in a red pointed cap, both wearing the beard of a creature with nothing to apologize for. There is a glass of milk, a scatter of cookies, and a note to Santa with his name crossed out in marker. Beware gnomes. The mantel piece with a story attached.
