Ciao, Venice: LEGO Icons Venetian Neighborhood arrives this November
Venice is getting a new LEGO waterfront. Revealed on October 15, Venetian Neighborhood (11388) brings the city’s canals and ornate buildings to LEGO Icons in a 5,682-piece display, with 17 minifigures to fill its waterside streets.
For anyone who enjoys a building with a story in every window, this looks like a lovely place to linger. There is plenty to take in before you even start exploring inside.
5,682A little Venice, full of life
A villa, glassblowing workshop and astronomical clock tower surround a canal crossed by an arched bridge. A gondola completes the scene. Lift off roofs and floors to explore inside, turn the clock’s knob to move its calendar, or use the street piano’s flower vase to play real notes.
The architecture is the draw for us: warm walls, decorative windows and little stretches of waterfront that invite you to look closer. It feels like a scene you can wander through, rather than a single building to admire from the front.
Release date, price and a water taxi gift
LEGO Insiders early access begins November 1, 2026, followed by the general release on November 4. The announced price is $549.99 / £449.99 / €499.99, and the set is rated 18+. Purchases of 11388 from November 1–8 qualify for the 322-piece Venetian Water Taxi (40898) gift, while supplies last and subject to LEGO’s terms.
A companion for Venetian Houses
The earlier BrickLink Designer Program Venetian Houses (910023) would complement this beautifully. If you already have it, the two would make an inviting Venice-inspired display: another stretch of Italian waterfront to enjoy alongside the new Icons scene. We would treat them as neighboring displays; LEGO’s announcement does not confirm that the two sets connect.
