LEGO’s November arrivals: a little Venice, a huge basilica and one legendary dragon
A plant reading a book might be November’s most relatable LEGO character. It has some rather grand company, though: today’s arrivals also include a 12,060-piece basilica, a bustling slice of Venice and Dragon Ball’s wish-granting dragon.
Sagrada Família: clear some shelf space
Barcelona’s famous basilica becomes LEGO’s biggest building set by piece count, with 12,060 pieces and a finished height of over two feet. At $799.99, Sagrada Família (21065) is a project to settle into for a while. It launches for everyone today, although LEGO’s US shop showed backorders with a 60-day shipping estimate when we checked.
12,060Cozy Plants: tea, a book and no watering
At the other end of the building table, Cozy Plants (10371) costs $22.99 and has just 248 pieces. A peppermint plant and a chamomile plant sit in smiling pots, one holding a book, the other a cup of tea. You can swap the plants between them. This little pair is available to everyone from today.
Shenron & Goku: make a wish
LEGO’s first Dragon Ball set gives Shenron a dramatic entrance, coiling above the seven Dragon Balls as Kid Goku rides his Kintoun. Shenron & Goku (11390) has 1,764 pieces and costs $179.99. LEGO Insiders can buy it from today; everyone else can join in on November 4.
Venetian Neighborhood: take the scenic route
A gondola, a glassblowing workshop and an astronomical clock tower fill this 5,682-piece corner of Venice. Seventeen minifigures give you plenty of company along the canal. Venetian Neighborhood (11388) costs $549.99, with Insiders access starting today and general release on November 4.
There’s a boat waiting, too. Buy Venetian Neighborhood from LEGO November 1–8 and the 322-piece Venetian Water Taxi (40898) comes along as a gift, while supplies last. Its captain, tourist and two pigeons should feel right at home. Check LEGO’s gift terms.
